American Interiors was excited for the opportunity to work with the Top Glassware Manufacturer in America since both companies are rooted in Toledo.
The company’s objectives for the project were aimed at reducing costs and increasing productivity. AI and Knoll worked with the design firm to come up with a workplace concept that promoted daylighting by maintaining 93% of the window visibility. Other important design factors were efficiency, storage, display area, integration of technology, and promotion of collaboration. The company was very interested in moving forward to a lean organization with an open environment that`s progressive but allows for some heads down focus areas as well. Knoll`s workplace research was valuable in the schematic phase of design. The project now represents a benchmark for corporate office spaces in Toledo.
