Reaching New Heights in Shaker Heights
Bookworms and study bugs alike are escaping back to the cozy and comfortable confinement of Shaker Heights Public Library after months of building renovations and interior upgrades. American Interiors, in partnership with Bialosky Cleveland and Turner Construction Company, provided furniture for the 18,000-square-foot, people-focused community hub in Shaker Heights, Ohio.
The renovation included two new study rooms where patrons can work quietly or collaboratively, a refurbished meeting room that now features up-to-date presentation and videoconferencing technology, a passport office that offers added privacy, and reconfigured staff areas which include a circulation workroom and reference desk to help better meet staff needs and enhance productivity.
