The Orlando Magic knows a thing or two about legends. Shaquille O’Neal, Dwight Howard, Penny Hardaway, and Tracy McGrady are just some of basketball’s most iconic players that have graced the Amway Center’s court throughout its history.
Thankfully, American Interiors is familiar with legends too. Furniture legends, that is.
After Orlando Magic’s 20-year-old headquarters experienced damage, they decided to take it as a sign to relocate their team into a 23,700-square-foot space closer to Amway Center in Downtown Orlando. Having provided the existing workstations in the Magic’s newly acquired space to its previous tenant, American Interiors was the perfect team to help the Magic reuse and add MillerKnoll furniture to their workspace.
Envisioning an office where new ways of work are considered, the Orlando Magic wanted a versatile working area where employees could touch and go as they pleased. Our team created a mixed-use office, providing furniture for 88 workstations, 7 private offices, 12 touchdown desks, 9 collaboration areas, 8 conference rooms, and a cafeteria for 200 employees. The end result is reflective of the Orlando Magic’s 33-year-old legacy and iconic brand.
