Built from the ground up in Avon, Ohio, this state-of-the-art headquarters represents 80 years of continued company growth.
Bendix, a manufacturing and engineering corporation specializing in commercial vehicles, has been headquartered in the Northeast region of Ohio since 1941. As an industry pioneer who values the design and development of safe technologies and solutions, Bendix needed a clean and calming space where ideas could take shape easily. American Interiors and MillerKnoll incorporated biophilic design, neutral tones, sleek surfaces, and welcoming layouts alongside Mecho window coverings throughout the expanse of the facility.
With over 55 acres of land and 190,000 square feet of office space, Bendix houses more than 600 employees. The HQ incorporates 100 private offices, 698 workstations, numerous collaboration areas, private meeting spaces, a fitness center, and a full-service café. According to Mayor Bryan Jensen, Bendix will be the second largest employer in the city of Avon.
