When Stephanie Kuhlman and Doug Howard came to Folds of Honor—American Interiors Chapter with the idea of building a no-cost home to benefit Folds of Honor, we knew we were on the road to something special.
On Monday, June 26, 2023, it was announced that the Home of the Brave was officially SOLD to a military family! Our chapter was humbled as we were presented with a check of $521,000, the equivalent of 104 scholarships for loved ones of fallen or wounded soldiers and first responders. After hearing from Jenn Stephens, Gold Star Wife & Mother, and Major Ed Pulido, it is evident that this mission is true. We will continue to do everything in our power to honor their sacrifice by educating their legacy.
Thank you to everyone involved in the charity build and fundraising of the Home of the Brave, including Stephanie Kuhlman, Doug Howard, NAI Harmon Group, Doug Howard Builders, Carter Lumber, Erie Home, Owens Corning, Moses Schlachter Group, Tom Schlachter, and so many others.
In addition, we are infinitely grateful for those who helped us in the planning and executing of our 6th Annual Patriot Golf Day at Inverness Club, and to those that continue to spread the Folds of Honor mission year-round, including the American Interiors team of volunteers, Erica Halada, Larry Robinson, Jenn Stephens, Tiffany Eckert, Major Ed Pulido, Christian Sterling, Braxton Miller, Coach Urban Meyer, Tyler Farr, and beyond.
