For the past 6 years, it’s been an absolute honor hosting Patriot Golf Day benefitting Folds of Honor at Inverness Club in Toledo, Ohio. This year was no different.

At American Interiors, the Folds of Honor mission is engrained in each and every one of us. It’s a part of our DNA; it’s something we carry with us year-round. When we began our philanthropic journey in 2018, we could have never imagined the relationships we’d make based solely on a shared love of giving back to the families of our military personnel and first responders.

Our 7th year at Inverness brought one of the largest crowds we’ve seen thus far. Opening ceremonies are often as emotional as they are patriotic. It’s a time where we’re forced to stop and truly reflect on the sacrifices made for our country’s freedoms. We were lucky to have Gold Star Wives and Mothers, Rachel Faulkner Brown and Tiffany Eckert standing proudly beside us. In honor of the 80th anniversary of D-Day, we welcomed two extremely special Guests of Honor: WWII Veterans, Harold Hoffman and Gilbert Sonnenberg. Both in their late 90s, they were drafted as young men into the Navy in the 1940s where they selflessly served our nation.
