Sometimes, an apple a day doesn’t keep the doctor away. When it’s time to visit a healthcare provider, the trip is often made easier when a hospital’s surroundings include comfortable and relaxing spaces.
As a company comprised of more than 60% women, American Interiors jumped on the opportunity to help Baylor Scott & White’s Women’s Center with healthcare furnishings and design. We worked closely with their team to determine the best MillerKnoll product solutions, layouts, and finishes for their lobby alongside 33 patient rooms dedicated to labor and delivery, postpartum, and antepartum health services.
Our team integrated sleep sofas, gliders, recliners, guest seating and tables, as well as patient over-bed tables throughout. Additional recliners were provided to the NICU, and bedside cabinets were added to patient rooms after the original furniture installation.
We continue to work with the Baylor Scott & White Medical Center in Frisco, Texas on replacement furnishings for their post-surgical unit as well as refreshing their main lobby with a new layout and replacement furnishings.
